"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

Acho que podia ver este filme 1000 vezes sem nunca me cansar. O argumento é brilhante, os desempenhos excelentes... tudo se conjuga na perfeição neste que é, para mim, um dos melhores filmes de sempre. E que prova a qualidade de Jim Carrey como actor (até eu, que antes o achava um cómico sem graça, fiquei impressionada).

O título do filme é retirado de um (longo) poema de A. Pope, do qual reproduzo em baixo a estrofe que importa:

"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;
Labour and rest, that equal periods keep;
"Obedient slumbers that can wake and weep;"
Desires compos'd, affections ever ev'n,
Tears that delight, and sighs that waft to Heav'n.
Grace shines around her with serenest beams,
And whisp'ring angels prompt her golden dreams.
For her th' unfading rose of Eden blooms,

Acho que todos os que viram o filme só podem ter gostado! Aqueles que ainda não o fizeram estão a perder tempo. Façam-no depressa!!
